Seibu Dojo is a semi-private martial arts studio. We take memberships at our dojo very seriously and only allow those who have good intentions and follow rules precisely, to join. Prospects will only be allowed 1 free class before joining. Membership dues will not be discussed before your first class and interview under any circumstances.
What We're Looking for in Our Students
Mutual Respect
We require our students to respect their opponents and their teachers. Martial Arts is not a sport that pairs well with arrogance, especially in Ninpo.
Humility
This art is incredibly difficult to master, which means it requires students who are humble and willing to fail. It is not an art where you will progress quickly, especially if you come from a martial arts background that is not as traditional.
Dedication
Because of the level of difficulty of this specific art, students often feel the need to quit, because they find the techniques too advanced. This art requires students who are dedicated and truly passionate about it to maintain a persistent attitude.
Growth-Mindset
This art takes long to master and requires students who are growth-orientated, and don't expect progress overnight. It will require a lot of patience and determination to get to an advanced level.
